The House

Sitting Room

The sitting room is warmed with a log burning stove and is a relaxing place to sit with a cup of tea, have a chat, read a book, play the piano or study one of our local maps and books.

Dining Room

Meals are served in the dining room before the open fire. We specialise in organic and home grown food- eggs from the hens, homemade breads and jams and pancakes with maple syrup. Our evening meals are served by candlelight and available upon request. Generally, we serve a "supper" which consists of a delicious, hearty and homemade soup from the garden, freshly baked bread, our own chutney and local cheeses. In the summer we often substitute the soup with a "chef's salad" with fresh produce from the garden. We are also happy to prepare a two or three course meal with starter, pudding and coffee for parties of four or more.
